The circumstances surrounding JPEG's latest release, or rather the coming of its name, shed but a glimpse of light into this haunting track. The accomplished producer and one of Woven's most prolific artists doesn't hide his intentions in Let Her Know: he's here to put you in your place. It's not a stark departure from past releases but this time the vocal lines play a much more prominent role in defining the strong undertows that are synonymous with Seavibe. The strengths lay in the rhythm as the track stretches from contemplative synths to the authoritative vocals of "How did I know, that she'd been there." Ask Blue Kangaroo for the aforementioned story - JPEG's let her know.
The release also includes a remix from a relatively new and unknown producer, Mr. Saturn. The collaborations between JPEG and Mr. Saturn, Greenland's surprising new export, began in late 2011 following years of music-sharing on online forums. Mr. Saturn mixes in new drums to transform the track into a shorter yet more powerful statement.
